Lights Out
Wide awake in the dark thinking about stuff. I’m staying in the spare room at my mother’s house, she has this machine that puts the light on a timer to “fool burglers”. It drives me batty not only because it is such a tremendous waste of electricity, but also because it shuts off promptly at 10:40 which means I can’t read anymore. Intro
So today is the first day (well actually 3rd day, I am starting late) of Infinite Summer. Of course, where I am, it’s Infinite Winter, which sounds much less appealing, but anyway. This morning I walked to the bookshop in Newtown, which was pointless because it didn’t open till 10am and I got there slightly before 9am. So instead I got on the bus to uni and got off a stop early to go...
